As way of showing the debates that are taking place during the three days in St. Gallen, a series of interviews were conducted with the brilliant Leaders of Tomorrow and the Speakers of the 48th&nbsp;St. Gallen Symposium.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">The Leaders of Tomorrow were asked to share what they believed were to be the most pressing issues about the future when it came to work. From questions on artificial intelligence to the free press, one can conclude that work is bound to change drastically and that it will affect many different aspect of the society.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">Find below a selection of the best ideas and insights raised on the topic, \u201cBeyond the end of work\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\">Philippa Malmgren and Heather Evans on AI and ethics<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">The young Heather Evans challenged Philippa Malmgren by asking her about Ethics and AI and the steps that needs to be taken in order to ensure privacy of individuals. Malmgren, having just led a work session on data privacy and the consequences of the recent breaches, exposed her vision on AI and data collection. She deems necessary for Government to implement new regulations protecting the victims of this ever-growing pool of data that knows more about each individual than they do themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"Heather Evans and Philippa Malmgren on Data\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen consent-original-src-_=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xNWfVB1ojf4?feature=oembed\" consent-required=\"1128\" consent-by=\"services\" consent-id=\"1129\" consent-click-original-src-_=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xNWfVB1ojf4?feature=oembed&amp;autoplay=1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">Heather Evans is a Senior Advisor in Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technology for the Government of Ontario, Canada and Philippa Malmgren is the founder of the DRPM Group, which helps companies, investors and policymakers better understand how risk and prices will move across the economics landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\">HO Kwon Ping and Lofullah Najafizada on inspiration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">Lofullah Najafizada addresses one of the most pressing question: how can we make sure that the young generation remains inspired and innovative in order to ensure a sustainable future for the next generations to which Mr Kwon Ping simply states that curiosity remains the main key to detect inequalities and fault in the system and work towards a better future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"Lotfullah Najafizada and Ho Kwon Ping on Innovation\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen consent-original-src-_=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sgMjQV1DgwA?feature=oembed\" consent-required=\"1128\" consent-by=\"services\" consent-id=\"1129\" consent-click-original-src-_=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sgMjQV1DgwA?feature=oembed&amp;autoplay=1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">Lotfullah Najafizada is the Director of the Afghan news Broadcaster, TOLOnews TV and HO Kwon Ping is the Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited, the international hospitality brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\">Nina dos Santos and Yumna Al-Arashi on the matter of free press<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">Yumna Al-Arishi, whose medium of expression is art, champions Nina Dos Santos, a recognised journalist, with the question of the role of the press in an over-informed society where the distinction between fake and real is often blurred.
