Activation Request for Alera Portfolio Manager (APM) License

What do I need to know and when for Alera Portfolio Manager (APM) License activation?

Acquire an APM License via our SIG Bundle Promotion (SIG Pro Member +FULLY AUTOMATED STARTER or +FULLY AUTOMATED PRO)

If you acquire a license to APM through our SIG Pro Member promotional bundle (+STARTER, +PRO) -- we will only request activation of your APM License directly from Alera Trading after your 2-week trial is complete and your Membership has been paid in full for the specified term.

You specifically need to request activation of your APM License here once your membership is fully processed. (No refunds will be given for your SIG Membership or any other fees once your membership payment is processed i.e. after the trial period).

Active you APM License. Live Trading with APM and a paid SIG Pro Membership (+STARTER, +PRO).

Only when you are ready for live trading, you may contact us to have your License activated with Alera Trading. This will preserve time on your APM License so that "the clock doesn't start ticking" on your 1 Year APM License until you are actually ready to trade live.

When purchased through SIG, licenses for APM are promotional only for the 1st year. The promotional license (which is a full license) to APM is applicable only for the first year (as stated, of actual use from the time that you activate your APM License)...

APM licenses beyond Year 1 are not offered through SIG and must instead be purchased directly through Alera Trading here. You may also obtain any license for APM directly at the preceding link at any time. SIG offers the first year of APM via our SIG Pro Member (+STARTER, +PRO) via a marketing agreement and for promotional purposes only in order to "give you everything that you need to help you succeed". The team at SIG uses APM for our own trading/investing, and that's why we stand by it. Alera Trading is in fact a separate company and separate entity.

Acquire an APM License Directly from Alera Trading...

As mentioned, any APM License beyond Year 1 must be purchased directly from Alera Trading. (You may also purchase an APM License directly from Alera Trading should you only want to trade our Free Strategies and/or NDX Momentum Strategy, or, want a different license (such as a SEMI AUTOMATED APM license), trade your own local strategies only, or, do not require a full SIG Pro Member membership for any other reason.
